Vegetable Soup

We were out again this weekend, cruising, fishing, just hanging out. When boating, keeping yourself and your crew fed, is fairly important. To do it easily and with few dishes makes everyone’s trip more pleasant. We keep our boat well stocked with a variety of food stuff, from soups & chili to rice, beans, and pasta fixings. Sea Cucumbers, Oysters, Cattails & other Wild Foods

Last weekend, Sherrie & I took off with no particular destination nor itinerary in mind. It was mid-May, Mother’s Day weekend and the weather was great. Multiple fishing and harvesting opportunities were present, with Ling Cod, Halibut, Shrimp, Clams & Oysters (check the red-tide hotline: ), Cabezon, and other seafoods available for the catching.
